Diana Ross - Diana was her biggest studio LP and was released in 1980. The LP was produced originally by Bernard Edwards and Nile Rodgers (Chic) for Aretha Franklin. But Franklin declined the project and it was passed on to Diana Ross. It reached #2 on the US Billboard 200 chart and #1 on the Billboard Soul Album Chart. It sold 6 million copies in the U.S. The single Upside Down went #1 and I'm Coming Out was also a top ten hit.
